The history of the Railway Museum is a museum dedicated to the use of iron and its derivatives, since the age of the iron until the 20th century. The Museum is located next to the castle of Montaigu in Jarville-la-Malgrange near Nancy, France.
The museography of the Museum follows the time scale and presents numerous archaeological pieces and models depicting the work of the iron from the iron up to the contemporary age.
The Museum also houses a documentation centre and the laboratory of archaeology of materials, from the Musée lorrain.
