Château - Musée du Cayla

Andillac | Maison d'écrivain
€2 - €3
Originally a hunting lodge was built in the fifteenth century on the site. After several revisions in the eighteenth and nineteenth century, the castle was transformed into a manor in the first half of the nineteenth century.
The castle was owned by the family of Maurice de Guerin, novelist and poet. The building was converted into a castle-museum dedicated to Maurice de Guerin and her sister Eugenie de Guerin, literature and painting. Temporary exhibitions are regularly presented.
