Castle Laréole French Renaissance is a castle dating from the sixteenth century. It was built by a wealthy Toulouse woad and it now belongs to the General Council of Haute-Garonne.

Listed as a Historic Monument in 1927, this Renaissance jewel into disrepair, was gradually forgotten. In 1984, the General Council decided to purchase this monument at risk to safeguard and promote the county heritage.

Open as many The castle is now a showcase for art exhibitions. The General Council wished this historic place, a meeting place for artists and their audiences. The works of great artists have been exposed, including those of Raoul Bergougnan and Fanny Ferre.
