Located in the heart of the Norman Bocage, on the banks of the Druance, the field of Pontécoulant gathers the distinguishing marks of the nobility: Castle, pavilions of the gamekeeper and the gardener, colombier, a landscaped garden park, dependencies, closed, wood and land.

The family Le Doulcet Pontécoulant there is settled in the 14th century. Rebuilt in the 16th century, their home was enlarged in the 18th century.
