The national Museum of ceramics is a french national museum created in 1824 and located in Sèvres, Hauts-de-Seine. It is part of the public city of ceramics - Sèvres and Limoges.

Museum brings together some 50 000 objects in ceramics of all periods, from the remotest to the most recent, from all civilizations of the world.

Ceramics of ancient Greece and Europe alongside Islamic, Hispano-moresque earthenware and Chinese porcelain, land cooked American, or pieces in stoneware or glass of contemporary artists. However, the biggest part of the exhibits are European and lie between the 15th century and the 19th century.
