The Richard H. Driehaus Museum offers visitors an intriguing view of one of the few remaining examples of the opulent homes erected by the wealthy of America’s Gilded Age. Located just a couple of blocks from Magnificent Mile, the museum showcases interiors that are complemented by amazing examples of furniture, decorative arts, stained glass, and pieces selected from the Driehaus Collection.

You’ll find Driehaus Collection around the museum which were acquired from the early 1970s, with special focus on Art Nouveau posters by Alphonse Mucha and his contemporaries. The collection has now grown to include works of design by Louis Majorelle, the Herter Brothers, Édouard Colonna, John La Farge, Emile Gallé, and Josef Hoffmann.
