Angers David Gallery is an annex site Museum of Fine Arts in Angers which adjoins. Named after the famous sculptor David d'Angers, the collection consists mainly original plasters that are preparatory steps to sculpture bronze or marble. Angers David Gallery also presents busts of literary figures, politicians or friends of David, and a hundred medallions.

Angers David Gallery was founded in 1839 and located for nearly 150 years in the dining hall of the Museum of Fine Arts in the city. In the early 1980s the decision was made to transfer her to the old abbey Saints, dating from the twelfth century and was completely renovated in 1984 by architect Pierre Prunet to house the museum. The roof and its structure were made, for example steel beams covered entirely of glass panels allowing natural overhead light.
