Beautiful and serene, Graceland Cemetery is a treasured oasis in the center of Chicago. Notables interred here are Chicago's movers and shakers of the late 19th and early 20th centuries: Daniel Burnham, Potter Palmer, Charles Wacker, George Pullman and many others. Their monuments were designed by the famous sculptors of the era: Daniel Chester French, Lorado Taft and architect Louis Sullivan.
