Presentation
The Institute of Illegal Images was founded by Mark McCloud, an artist and former professor who’s been in San Francisco since 1971 and has the largest LSD blotter art and ephemera collection in the world. After he was unsuccessfully prosecuted by the FBI twice for his collection, he re-hung the art, most of it still with evidence stickers on the back.
