Accessible by a sunny garden at the bedside of the Cathedral, the museum open access offers collections ranging from the geology of the Charente (sites dinosaurs and Cherves Angeac-Charente) at the Fine Arts through archeology (the collections discoveries Angoumois) and non-European art.

The Angouleme museum houses one of the largest arts of Africa and Oceania France collections.
Enjoy the 3rd floor a selection of paintings, sculptures, ceramics and weapons of the sixteenth century to the early twentieth century, and production workshops Charentais artists.
