Presentation
Reopened in spring 2010 in Marunouchi, the museum organizes three times a year exhibitions on the theme of modern art from the second half of the nineteenth to the first half of the twentieth century. Its red-brick building is a reconstruction of the "Mitsubishi Ichigokan" (designed by Josiah Conder) built by Mitsubishi Corporation in 1894.

His collection consists notably in Western art from the late nineteenth century (date of the original building), such as Toulouse Lautrec, Odilon Redon or Valloton.
