Museum Alfred Canel is a museum of art, history and archeology. Alfred Canel (1803-1879), local historian and politician, was initiated by the creation of the public library in 1836, and began to form at the end of his life, museum collections. A universal spirit associated with a generous personality led him to leave his property to the community. In the beautiful family home and were installed in 1884, new public library and museum in the manner of a curiosity. This set has been designed according to the humanist approach of this Republican.
