Musée Archéologique d'Argentomagus

Saint-Marcel | Archéologie
€2.5 - €4.5
Near argenton, the remains of the Gallo-Roman city of Argentomagus continue to deliver ancient secrets: in addition to the theatre, the fountain and the baths rediscovered in the 19th century, a museum houses objects (etc.) updated with the excavations. Outside, a surprising Roman garden features plants cultivated 2,000 years ago to feed, heal, dressing... An initiatory journey at the time, for the whole family.

Argentomagus, is also a show open: walking through the remains of the city, we touch the finger 2000 years of history. The Roman garden exudes the same serenity plus the simple pleasure of the senses: aromatic, decorative, medicinal plants invite us to experience of a disappeared daily. One hundred fifty species compose this atypical, pretext garden to the game and a nice stroll off the beaten.
