Several sites in the town Briord are developed and maintained by the Society for the History and Archaeology of Briord and Surroundings in connection with the municipality: the site of the necropolis of Planted and early Christian basilica, the site of Gallo-Roman aqueduct underground of Briarette and monumental Gallo-Roman burial site on Plain. Visiting these sites complements the museum.
