The Auxonne castle is a castle of the fifteenth century Auxonne Burgundy.

The largest of the five towers, Notre Dame tower houses since 1970 a "museum Bonaparte" (founded in 1863 in Auxonne) exposing memories stay of Napoleon Bonaparte in Auxonne between 1788 and 1791, at the time Napoleon Bonaparte was a cadet at the Royal artillery Auxonne school and a lieutenant in the First artillery Regiment La Fere.
