The museum traces through more than two thousand pieces, the long history of the gradual implementation of Arawak and Carib peoples on the island.
Native American history of the Martinique is illustrated with engraved or painted bowls, vases and achiote especially a large collection of 'adornos, that make the County Museum one of the richest museums of archeology in the Caribbean.

The exhibits come to most archaeological sites of Martinique and Vivé Burnt Fund Lorrain Dizac Diamond and Paquemar to Vauclin.
