The art museum Toulon is one of the areas of conservation and exhibition of municipal collections. Housed in a monument dating from the late nineteenth century, it has a collection of nearly 3000 pieces with archaeological objects, paintings from the fifteenth to the twentieth century and contemporary works from the 1960s, and several hundred photographs.

The art museum Toulon has a particularly rich and varied funds.
Ancient works abound, as many paintings from the fifteenth in the early twentieth century. Provencal painters, mostly landscapes, are in the spotlight: Paul Guigou, Auguste Aiguier Felix Ziem, Adolphe Monticelli ... accompany the most famous of them: Toulon Courdouan Vincent (1810-1893). The beasts of Provence will also occupy a prominent place: Auguste Chabaud, René Seyssaud, Louis-Mathieu Verdilhan ...
