In the historical center, the Museum of Dreux provides an overview of the art of the eighteenth, nineteenth and twentieth centuries, and so has a few great masters such Granet, Vlaminck and Monet.

The exceptional study Wisteria Claude Monet, as the first recumbent marble Duchess of Alençon by sculptor Barrias are the flagships of the art collection. A collection devoted mainly to the art of the nineteenth century, but also to the history of the town of Dreux, presented through archaeological collections, stained glass or sculptures from the Middle Ages.
