The Museum of Art and history Romain Rolland, founded in 1876, is installed in the hotel in Bellegarde, the birthplace of Romain Rolland and his maternal grandfather, in Clamecy, in the french Department of nièvre.

The Clamecy Museum has very varied collections. The visitor discovers successively:
-The tables received by the president of the Republic François Mitterrand during his two terms.
-The Gallo-Roman archaeological objects from Chevroches, Compierre, Entrains-sur-Nohain, and those of Merovingian, updated to brief.
