The Museum Hebrus of Saint - Clément is a museum located in the hotel of the same name in Rochefort since 1860. It houses the Museum of art and history and heritage services.
Pierre-André Hebrus of Saint - Clément (1727-1805) was the Mayor of Rochefort from 1767 to 1771, then 1800 at 18051.
The former hotel dates back to the 18th century. Built in the 1700s, it was rebuilt around 1758. It was destroyed except the facades on streets that have been preserved. The Hebrus de Saint-Clément Museum was closed since October 7, 2002 and was reopened late 2006 after its restructuring.
