Mecca of the defense of St. Tropez for several centuries, the Citadel since 1958, the date of the opening of the Naval Museum, branch of the National Maritime Museum.

Collections include allowing visitors to discover the past navigations. 400 square meters of available space evoke different maritime activities in the last 500 years of the city, from themes that seem familiar as hydrography, fishing, coastal school, or other more surprising as the navigations in the Southern Ocean or the Indian ocean.
