Opened in November 1989, the Motorcycle Museum Marseille took up residence in an old mill beautifully restored. The history of the "motorcycle", its origin in 1885 to today, is traced through an exceptional collection which makes it one of Europe's finest museums.

estiné all lovers of two wheels, the museum comes, chronologically, over 4 floors (1,200 m²), offering the visitor a view of technological change on a century of motorcycling.

250 unique pieces that make up the collection are from the heritage museum but donations, loans from private collectors or individuals (such as family Nougier) and exchanges with other museums of France and Europe.

Among other rarities include, to put the visitors appetite:
- Nougier the collection (1936-1971)
- The prototype MGC 1935/1938, 650 cc, 4 cylinders in line (aircraft engine). This avant-garde motorcycle, unique in the world, is probably the most beautiful French machine and the more complex its time
- A collection of machinery "GUZZI motorcycle" in perfect condition, showing a rapid evolution of the Italian brand
- Military motorcycles that participated in the second World War
- More than thirty unique machines in the world
