The Bourdelle Museum is located at 18 rue Antoine Bourdelle, in the 15th arrondissement of Paris. It is installed in the apartments, workshops and gardens where Antoine Bourdelle lived and worked since 1885 at the age 16 Impasse du Maine.
The venue was transformed into a museum in 1949 A first extension was designed by architect Henry Gautruche in 1961 to mark the centenary of the birth of Antoine Bourdelle. A second extension was completed in 1992 by architect Christian de Portzamparc.
This is one of the 14 museums of the City of Paris managed since January 1, 2013 through a public administrative Paris Museums.
