The Museum of the abbey of Sainte-Croix des Sables d'Olonne (MASC) is installed in a convent building founded in 1632 by the Benedictine nuns of Poitiers.
It houses major collections of modern and contemporary art in the first place, the funds Chaissac Gaston (1910-1964) and Victor Brauner (1903-1966).

Collection of works by Georg Baselitz, Max Beckmann, Rémi Blanchard, Philippe Hatchet, Combas, Desgrandchamps, Blaise Drummond, Jean Dubuffet, Richard Fauguet, Gilgian Gelzer, Philippe Hurteau, Jean Launois, René Leleu, Alberto Magnelli Albert Marquet, François Morellet, Anton Prinner, Peter Saul, Vincent Mauger, Verschaere ... many contemporary artists have also exposed as Emmanuel Collin, who in 2005 will present its huge paintings and sculptures.

You will also discover a beautiful set on ethnographic and industrial traditions of the country and neighboring Olonnes marshes.
