The Museum of Printed Textiles is a French museum in Mulhouse (Haut-Rhin). Both decorative art museum, art museum, museum of local history and fashion museum, it aims to raise awareness of the textile printing based on the collections of samples, materials and documents gathered by the Industrial Society of Mulhouse (SIM).

At the end of the eighteenth century and early nineteenth century, Mulhouse experiencing spectacular industrial and population growth from 7200 inhabitants in 1801 to 32 557 in 1851. The local industry, meeting within the Industrial Company based in Mulhouse 1826 played a leading role in the development of cultural life and are involved in the creation of several technical museums. Museum of Industrial Design was created in 1857. Initially designed for professionals, it brings together, in addition to local production, samples worldwide. In 1910 he was transferred, along with the School of Design at the premises of the SIM, at 12, rue de la Bourse. From 1911 it opens to the general public through annual exhibitions.
