The Museum of Fine Arts Museum of Morlaix or Jacobins opened in 1887 in the former Convent of the Jacobins seized during the French Revolution.

Among the major pieces are in the collections of ancient painting of Venus and Adonis by Giovanni Francesco Romanelli and Portrait of Madame Andler Gustave Courbet; modern painting Forgiveness of Meros Theophilus Deyrolle, the Way of the Lower fort Blanc Élodie La Villette, A Eugene Boudin and rain Belle-Ile by Claude Monet grain. At his death in 1920, the painter Louis-Marie Baader bequeathed more than seventy of his works to the museum. The institution also acquired in 1927 a set of nineteen paintings and four drawings of the Australian painter John Peter Russell who lived in Belle-Ile-en-Mer. Since 1999, he has deposits decors Maurice Denis for his home in Perros-Guirec.

The permanent fund of the museum is closed, the rich collection of the Museum of Morlaix is therefore visible as alternating temporary exhibition.
