At the foot of the Roc d'Anglars, well nestled in the gorges of Aveyron, Saint-Antonin boasts the oldest civil monument of France. The Old Town Hall, located in the heart of the medieval city, instead of Halle, was built in 1125 and is now converted into a museum.

The museum, in addition to its collections Arts and Traditions, home to outstanding collections of local Geology and Palaeontology, Prehistory and some fossils and insects.
