Museum de Sens was born in the middle of the 19th century, the Museum welcomes a large collection of objects and works from all eras.

The prehistoric and Protohistoric have abundant material found in the North of the Yonne, while the very rich collection of Gallo-Roman sculptures (steles, mosaics...) is among the first in Europe.
Since 2002 the Marrey collection enriches the meaning museums thanks to furniture, ceramics, Flemish, Dutch and modern paintings and sculptures.

The Treasury of the Cathedral of meaning, the most important of France with that of Sainte-Foy de Conques, retains tapestries, fabrics and works of Goldsmith.
