Presentation
Specializing in animal art (Bugatti, Pompon, Jouve ...), the Vernon Museum is an essential stop on the tour of Giverny, with its paintings by Monet and the artists who lived there (Butler Mac Monnies, Hoschedés-Monet ...). Paintings by Bonnard -which was, in Vernon, the neighbor of Monet between 1912 and 1926 - and the Nabis (Vuillard, Denis, Vallotton) enrich the section on landscapes of the region.

An original Cabinet of Drawings, focusing on humor and caricature, presents works of Théophile Steinlen (specialist tramps who loved cats ...), Robert Black and Woop, observers of the French political and social life of the twentieth century.
