The Museum of decorative arts of Bordeaux, opened on July 2, 1955, is a museum located in the hotel of Lalande, in Bordeaux in Aquitaine. It presents ceramics, furniture, paintings, engravings, sculptures, glassware and silverware.
Designed by architect Etienne Laclotte for parliamentarian Pierre Raymond de Lalande, Lalande Hall was completed in 1779. Its owners to enjoy little; Pierre de Ramon died in 1787 and his son Jean de Raymond was guillotined on July 9, 1794. The House changes hands several times before being acquired in 1878 by the city of Bordeaux, which settled police services
