The museum offers a history of the city, its porcelain (1666 - 1766) and his castle, but he is also interested in artists who through time have promoted the renowned city (as Maurice Ravel, Charles Gounod Edmond Dantan).

There is also a collection of paintings by Eugène Carrière (1849 - 1906) donated to the museum by Mr. and Mrs. Charles Oulmont which also includes pieces of decorative arts as a secretary in the eighteenth century flaps or a weekly report of the Louis XVI. The museum opens to contemporary art and exhibits works of the young artist Mathieu clodoaldien Cherkit a major player in the new figurative painting.
