The Museum of Fine Arts in Marseille, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur is one of the leading museums of the city. Housed in a wing of the palace Longchamp presents a collection of paintings, sculptures and drawings from the sixteenth to the nineteenth century
The Museum of Fine Arts in Marseille was created in 1801. The first collections from the revolutionary seizure of the property of emigrants.

The museum, once again, its permanent collections, rich in over 2000 paintings, 300 sculptures and 3,000 works and drawings from the period from the sixteenth to the nineteenth century. "Only" 200 masterpieces have been hung in the two rooms, but regularly, new paintings, currently on reserve, will be presented.

The ground floor houses the oldest paintings of the sixteenth and seventeenth century and the first floor, those from the eighteenth to the nineteenth century. On the ground floor, a room is dedicated to Pierre Puget.
