Museum of Textiles and Decorative Arts is a French museum in Lyon, 34 rue de la Charité, in the 2nd arrondissement.
As its name suggests, the hotel installed rue de la Charité contains two separate but complementary museums that can be visited on the same ticket. As the Museum of Decorative Arts closes between 12 pm and 14 pm you can enjoy this time to browse the museum Fabrics.

Coated paneling in part from former Lyon mansions of the eighteenth century, or adorned with woven tapestries of the sixteenth to the eighteenth centuries, the various rooms of the museum are the setting for a remarkable collection of woodworking or carpentry originally from Paris (Jean-François Oeben, Pierre Roussel, Charles Topino, Jean Henri Riesener), Lyon (Canoe, Nogaret) and Grenoble (Hache Family). The museum also houses a rare collection of original objects and straw marquetry from the seventeenth to nineteenth centuries.
