The Old Town Hall Second Empire style, copy of Fontainebleau was built in stone and red brick was opened November 7, 1869.

Today it houses the Museum of History of the city. Real memory of Rueil-Malmaison, this museum traces the history of the evolution of a small village in the Paris region, Charles le Chauve to today.

You will find, in particular, a collection of 1,600 figurines representing the Grand Army hall "Laundry" Edouard Belin room, inventor of the "Belinograph" (ancestor of Fax), Eugène Capelle room with an overview of the history of the postcard.
