The Toy Museum is installed in the old Abbey of Poissy Priory (XIV century). It has about 800 games and toys dated between 1850 and 1950, demonstrating a way to play sometimes gone, but more often as timeless, beyond fashion and technology.

These are toys manufacturing industrial, french and German for the most part, widely distributed from the middle of the 19th century. Discover dolls porcelain, bear plush, steam trains and electric constructions, optical and scientific games games... The highlight of the visit being the attic with its network of electric trains.

The museum was created in 1974 by Pierre Pinel who during the period of construction and inauguration was the Mayor of the city of Poissy.
