In a contemporary museum space, the country of Sarrebourg Museum exhibits collections of archaeology, earthenware and porcelain of Niderviller. Course Chagall: the chapel of the Cordeliers where radiates stained glass 'Peace' Chagall (12 m high), until the Museum where the tapestry of the same name, a new scenography reveals these grandiose works through a pedagogic and poetic journey.

The Museum has over 800 pieces tracing the history of the country of Sarrebourg. It also presents archaeological collections from the Gallo (jewellery and ornaments, objects of everyday life, murals, agricultural and craft), the period furniture, medieval and modern sculptures, as well as the pottery and porcelain of the 18th century.

In a cabinet of drawings are presented alternately preparatory drawings of stained-glass windows of the chapel of the Cordeliers de Sarrebourg, the cathedrals of Metz, Reims and the United Nations. These works constitute an introduction or a conclusion to a visit to the chapel of nearby Cordeliers, for which Marc Chagall has made several stained-glass windows including peace, beautiful work of 12 meters in height. The bridge overlooking the lobby features by elsewhere Tapestry 'peace', according to the carton of stained glass of the United Nations.
