The French Museum of playing card is the only museum devoted to the playing card in France. It features annexed in the entrance of the ancient castle of the princes of Conti adjacent modern building dedicated to the playing card, the history of the city of Issy-les-Moulineaux Gallery pavilion.

The French Museum of playing card is created in 1981, and opened in December 1997 in its new premises. It is one of the seven existing museums in the world devoted to this theme. For all audiences, from the simply curious to the most demanding researcher, the museum offers a fascinating dive into the world of the card, it allows you to discover and have fun.

Some 9,000 sets, of which nearly 6500 playing cards, 980 prints, drawings, posters and more than a thousand objects are gathered in the museum.
