Museum Gajac, located in Villeneuve-sur-Lot and open since 1999, is a conservation of works of art (XVI - XX century) and temporary exhibitions. Enhancement of heritage and openness to contemporary art are part of its mission. It is one of the major art center of the region.

The museum, which has integrated collections of Gaston Rapin museum since 1996, has a contemporary wing divided into two separate areas: one dedicated to a part of the permanent collection includes paintings and sculptures of the seventeenth, XVIIeI, nineteenth and twentieth centuries but also prints the other is reserved for temporary exhibitions.
