The National Museum of Asian Arts - Guimet, also commonly called the Guimet Museum, is an Asian art museum located in Paris, 6, place d'Iena in the 16th arrondissement. Designed at its renovation in 1997 as a center of knowledge of Asian civilizations in the heart of Europe, it has now grouped together in an area dedicated to them, one of the most comprehensive collections Asian art in the world.

The museum consists of the initiative Emile Guimet (1836-1918), industrialist and scholar Lyon. With trips to Egypt (the Gizeh Museum will inspire him for the future museum of museums), Greece and a world tour in 1876, with stops in Japan, China and India, it brings to important collections of art objects he presented to Lyon from 1879.
