The Musée Hébert created in 1934 to honor the French painter Ernest Hébert is located Hebert Road in La Tronche, near Grenoble.

The museum is located in a 2.5 hectare park, purchased in 1821 by the artist's mother in La Tronche (Isère). Become the property of the artist, the house serves as a pied-à-terre in his Italian stay until his death in 1908. Thereafter, his wife Gabrielle, born of Uckermann, turns the house into a private museum in 1934 when it dies at the age of 80 the same year.
