On the ground floor of the house, the public can walk in two areas of access, free entry, where the permanent collections are replaced regularly changing exhibitions related to the history of Le Havre, the major political events in the maritime trading ...
The story about them offer a particular mode of exposure with the opening of two studies galleries and a visitable reserve.

In the first gallery, visitors will discover a fabulaine collection of Chinese porcelain, some of the East India Company. These fragile objects testify trade of eighteenth and nineteenth century between Le Havre and China.
In the same gallery, a large collection of glassware is exposed. These glass produced between the sixteenth and nineteenth century stained glass windows reflect different practices and their mutual influences.
