Jean Aicard chooses to live of 1916 the village and served as Mayor from 1919 to 1921. Born in Toulon February 4, 1848 in a family of old Provençal strain, he lived mostly in Paris but to get closer to the Provence which lacks, he buys "the little House that seemed to cower against the ' Church ' and settled there.

His house contains many memories and object that belonged to him: furniture of Louis XV and Louis XVI, including a dresser style typically Provençale, buffet Arles of the 18th century, paintings of Provencal painters, cellar rats (candle) in ironwork, by Jean Aicard with mattress Springs, letters and photos of his friends, Mistral, Victor Hugotwo convicts of Toulon in santon
