In a former convent from the 17th century, Museum of Semur has preserved its 19th museography thus presenting rich and varied collections.

-In geology, more than 10,000 parts are exposed, in zoology from birds and animals reminiscent of the cabinets of curiosity.
-The room of this parts pre and Protohistoric, but also Gallo-Roman Archaeology with such a beautiful collection of ex-votos.
-The room fine arts, with its overhead lighting and the ground floor gallery illustrate the period of the 19th century with its many statues mostly of Augustin Dumont whose Museum owns the original plaster of the genius of the Bastille in Paris, but also his paintings to the genera varied, landscapes, portraits, paintings of history... characteristic of this period.
