Installed in the old house God which survives the lapidary room (13th), the Museum of Art and history of Toul presents the rich collections chronicling the history of the town of Toul. It consists of more of 28 themed rooms the visitor travels chronologically.

Privileged site occupied since prehistoric times, early Romanised, Toul was the seat of a bishopric in the 4th century. The excavations carried out in the city and the surrounding area have unearthed evidence of any kind from the past. In addition to the collections of religious paintings inherited episcopal, the section of fine arts offers a diverse range of works from the 16th to the 19th century.
