The rich and varied collections of the Museum of Vendome are presented in some of the buildings of the former abbey of the Trinity. During the discovery rooms, visitors can admire from the windows of the north, a magnificent view of the Romanesque bell tower and the Gothic church. Access to the first two floors is via a stone staircase leading to the seventeenth monks' dormitory.

The permanent collections give perspective about Vendôme and its surroundings, both in geological and archaeological area. Ancient crafts, sometimes missing, are discussed in the room Ethnology from tools: tanners, glovers, shoemakers. In the field of fine arts, the museum has some remarkable pieces harp Marie Antoinette, painted castle Richelieu decor, table trial of Babeuf. The room devoted to ceramics reveals major productions of Rouen and Nevers.
