The municipal Museum of the Capuchins in Coulommiers is at the heart of the gardens of the Castle vanished of the duchesse de Longueville, Catherine de Gonzague. It is located in the chapel of the convent of the Capuchins, founded by the Duchess herself.

The Museum presents a collection of local history from prehistoric times to the 17th century. Fine arts are honored with a diverse collection of paintings from the 16th century to the present day. A section devoted to the "arts and popular traditions" can find daily life before the industrial revolution. Finally, testimony of the old shops of Coulommiers pharmacy Empire of Mr. and Ms. Pipault unveils the mysteries of the pharmacopoeia of the 18th century and 19th century.
