Nicolas Poussin The museum is a museum housed in a former mansion of the eighteenth century. Its name evokes the great eighteenth century French painter Nicolas Poussin, born in the hamlet of Villers, near Andelys in 1594. It traces the history of the town of Andelys and houses collections thematically exposed belonging to regional heritage and strongly related the history of France: ancient history, religious history, industrial history and art history.
