Installed on the side of Mount Saint Clair on a terrace overlooking the Marine Cemetery and the Mediterranean, the Paul Valéry Museum has an exceptional view and situation. Its architecture designed by the architect Guy Guillaume dates from the early 70s and is consistent with the logic of the Corbusier buildings.

The Paul Valéry Museum gathers about 4000 works. The Beaux-Arts collections, which include more than 700 paintings and more than a thousand drawings, are complemented by two specific collections: the Paul Valéry Collection and a collection of popular Arts and Traditions.

The surrounding gardens host outdoor events: a multidisciplinary program that offers lectures, literary meetings, poetry, song evenings and pocket theater, in close connection with the museum's collections or the Mediterranean identity of the city.
