Presentation
The Museum Camille Pissarro, designed as an extension of the Tavet-Delacour Museum, was inaugurated in 1980, to pay tribute to the artist of the same name. It houses the archives of the association "Friends of Camille Pissarro". The House chosen to install this museum is a bourgeois from the end of the 19th century house located at the site of the former royal Château de Pontoise, destroyed in 1742.

The Museum occupies the first floor of this House. It benefits from the collections 19th century Musée Tavet-Delacour and a set of works and archives since the mid-1970s. Its permanent collections include works of Camille Pissarro and his son Lucien Pissarro and Georges Manzana-Pissarro-Ludovic Rodo Pissarro, but also works by Daubigny, Guillaumin, Signac, Hansson, Piette and many other artists who stayed in the region.
