The collection is structured around three areas:
- Palaeontology: Chaumont en Vexin, camped on the edge of the coast Island of France and Picardie chalk, gives access to some 30 million years of local geological history thanks to the abundant fossils collected by Raymond Pillon on sites of internationally
- Prehistory: bordered by the troësne, the vexinois plateau early set the farmer: complete lithic furniture, the simple radiance to the superb adze of acheulian hardiness at the wonderful polished Neolithic
